Care Guide

Good gear lasts longer when you look after it. Every White Bark piece is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage, but how you care for it still matters. Here’s how to keep your workwear working hard.

General Tips

  • Hemp softens with every wash without losing strength.
  • Natural dye variations are part of what makes your piece unique.

Aprons & Workwear

HOW TO WASH
  • Machine wash cold with like colors.
  • Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. They’ll weaken the fibers over time.
  • Spot clean with a mild stain remover, if needed.
  • Tie the straps in an overhand knot to keep them from tangling.
HOW TO DRY
  • Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Your gear will last longer if you skip the dryer. The lint you pull out? That’s your apron, little by little.
  • Remove from the dryer while warm or give it a quick shake and smooth before hanging to avoid wrinkles.

Work Hats

  1. Soak. Fill a basin with cold water and a small amount of liquid detergent or OxiClean. Let your hat soak for 30 minutes.
  2. Rinse. Use cold water to remove any soap.
  3. Air dry. Reshape and let it dry naturally.
