Care Guide
Good gear lasts longer when you look after it. Every White Bark piece is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage, but how you care for it still matters. Here’s how to keep your workwear working hard.
General Tips
- Hemp softens with every wash without losing strength.
- Natural dye variations are part of what makes your piece unique.
Aprons & Workwear
HOW TO WASH
- Machine wash cold with like colors.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. They’ll weaken the fibers over time.
- Spot clean with a mild stain remover, if needed.
- Tie the straps in an overhand knot to keep them from tangling.
HOW TO DRY
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Your gear will last longer if you skip the dryer. The lint you pull out? That’s your apron, little by little.
- Remove from the dryer while warm or give it a quick shake and smooth before hanging to avoid wrinkles.
Work Hats
- Soak. Fill a basin with cold water and a small amount of liquid detergent or OxiClean. Let your hat soak for 30 minutes.
- Rinse. Use cold water to remove any soap.
-
Air dry. Reshape and let it dry naturally.
